EKG Machines Are Absolutely Necessary in Every Clinic

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

If you work in a medical clinic or hospital, you know there is one piece of equipment that is absolutely necessary in every place practicing medicine: EKG machines. Even if it’s not a hospital, every medical clinic or practice should have an EKG on hand should their patients need one immediately. Heart disease and issues are very prevalent and serious, so there isn’t always time to send patients to other places for important heart health tests. Every clinic should have an EKG machine and a defibrillator at the ready, so that they can provide the best care to patients at all times.

If you are looking for this medical equipment at an affordable price, you should take a look at refurbished medical equipment from MedicalMachinesOnline.com. They have a great selection of new and used EKG machines, so that you can find a great EKG machine and defibrillator for your medical office or hospital. And just because they are refurbished doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with them. They have been tested, reconditioned, and re-tested so that you can rest assured they are in perfect working order and will function like a new machine.

Used Medical Equipment Means More Money in Your Pocket

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

It’s that time of year, when we’re all celebrating with friends and family, and yes, spending more money than usual on entertaining, going out, and that Christmas list. You manage a medical practice, and when times are tough and you’re trying to stay in business, you’ve got to find the best deals you can when it’s time to replace medical equipment. You can opt for brand new machines, however I would suggest that you look into used medical equipment. Getting medical equipment that has been used and refurbished is the way to go if you want to save money this holiday season, and it’s easy to find.

Like many items these days, the best deals are on the internet. You can find your used medical equipment on MedicalMachinesOnline.com, and make sure that your medical practice stays afloat during these hard times. You will also have more money in your pocket if you need home medical equipment and you buy it refurbished. There is nothing technically wrong with refurbished machines, because they have been inspected by experts to be in excellent running condition and perform no differently than a brand new machine would. So save yourself some moola and go with used medical equipment.

Important Information about Medical Equipment Leasing

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

I lease medical equipment and I am surprised time and time again by how little many hospital and clinic administrators know about medical equipment leasing! They could be saving so much money if they decided to lease the equipment as opposed to purchasing it. Many people decide to buy used medical equipment. This system is a good idea if you need basic equipment such as EKG machines. However, if you need something more high-tech, such as an anesthesia machine, then you need to consider medical equipment leasing.

The beauty about leasing equipment is that you can have access to the latest and the greatest technology. By renting this equipment, you do not need to pay all the extra fees that you would need to pay if you decided to make the purchase. All you need to do is pay the cost that the machine is expected to decrease in value over the time that you have it. So in conclusion, lease the big equipment and purchase the EKG machines! You can save so much money this way!

Medical Equipment Repair is Part of the Juggling Routine

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

I run a health clinic. I am constantly juggling a lot of balls, also known as issues that come up in a clinic, like scheduling my staff, updating the equipment, keeping the fridge full, the water bottles full, the waiting room in tip top shape, and an array of other things. While it’s nearly impossible to keep up with the scheduling, especially during summer months when people are constantly requesting days off and trying to switch with one another, the hardest part is definitely keeping everything updated and running properly. A health clinic contains a lot of equipment, as well as computers. Each room has their own equipment, and every station has a computer. With all of the medical equipment repairs that I deal with, I’m a pro in all things related to medical equipment repair. The most important thing you can do for yourself is to have a solid relationship with your equipment supplier. This way, they can be there to help you when you need it, or even just to offer guidance and advice when you need it, and you will need it. So take the extra time to find quality medical equipment suppliers, websites or stores and use them as a resource whenever you need help with medical equipment repair.

Medical Equipment Sales are Always Needed

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

In today’s tough economy, I had a hard time choosing a field that interests me, and that wasn’t going to be struggling and having layoffs during tough times. One idea that sparked my interest was in the medical products field. They always need doctors, nurses, and other medical workers.  The only thing with that is I don’t want to be a doctor. Needles gross me out, so I don’t think I’d last too long. I’ve also always been interested in sales. I’m a great talker, and wanted to use it do some good for a change, instead of just annoying my friends. So I decided to look into medical equipment sales. It’s a great opportunity to make a lot of money if you’re good at your job. The medical field is always going to be needed, and as long as you’re willing to adapt and continuously learn new things and improvements in technologies, you can succeed in your field. So I started learning and taking classes, and soon after I was able to land a great job, that I absolutely love, and I’m making great money. I’m very happy with my decision to get into medical equipment sales.

Bariatric Medical Equipment for Equal Healthcare Opportunities

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

I’m a big girl. Bigger than the average size woman. I know this, and I’m ok with it. The difficult part is when I was admitted to the hospital and they had a hard time treating me, because of my weight. They suggest I transfer to another local hospital that had a lot more bariatric medical equipment. I obliged and went next door, and it was a lot better. They could do all the same tests, but on more comfortable machines that were more specifically aimed for me and my lifestyle. Of course it was embarrassing, and since the incident, I have lost over 100 pounds, but I just wanted to share that it’s really important to have equipment for all people, no matter your shape or size. And it’s important to be able to treat to the best of your ability, your patients, and no matter what the circumstances are. Whether it’s hospital medical equipment or home medical equipment, it needs to fit the patient.

Durable Medical Equipment Gives Patients Confidence in their Doctors

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Sometimes there are things that can get away with being poorly made, like some clothing, socks, shoes, or other items that are not life threatening. Then there are products that have to be held to higher standards, like durable medical equipment, cars that we trust with our lives and the lives of our friends and family, our homes need to stand up to the tests of time and nature, as well as buildings and structures. I couldn’t believe when I was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago the poor condition that their medical equipment was in. I had to recommend Medical Machines Online to them, because it was an outrage. I left the hospital and went to the local clinic to get checked out, because I didn’t trust the outdated and fragile-looking equipment that they were using. That is one thing that should never get to the point of looking decrepit, for crying out loud. The good news is, I knew the director and they looked into getting some new discounted medical equipment from Medical Machines Online, so all in all, they did the right thing by getting new, durable medical equipment.

Hospital Medical Equipment Saved My Life

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

I was recently admitted to the hospital, and I spent a few days there. You can imagine what a couple of days are like being stuck in a hospital. If you don’t know, I will tell you; they are very boring. I spent my nights counting tiles on the ceiling, and during the days watching soaps and counting the tiles on the floor. Occasionally I was taken to a different room to do tests, which is when I would again start counting tiles. If I was lucky I’d get to count all the tiles on the ceiling and floor before returning back to my room that had 69 tiles on the ceiling, and 120 tiles on the floor, not counting the few that were under my bed that I couldn’t see. The most impressive part though, was looking at all of the intense hospital medical equipment. While I was there I saw nearly every piece of equipment they had in full effect while they tested me, monitored me, and eventually cured me. It was amazing. How do they keep everything up to date and working? Nearly every piece of machinery in my home has malfunctioned once or probably twice. How do they keep everything up and running? I mean people’s lives rely on it. It must take a lot of work to run a hospital and keep all the EKG machines and patient monitors up to date, and when I left, I left with a newfound respect for the director.

Medical Equipment Leasing for Tough Economic Times

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Not so long ago I was struggling to keep my healthcare center open. In these times of hardships that our world is facing, it was hard to stay positive. I needed so much to keep my office running, and while the steady flow of patients was still constant, there were just too many things that needed to be updated or changed and tweaked to be able to keep up with it all. Thankfully, I was able to prioritize and use a few tricks to help me keep up and get caught up. One of the best tricks was switching to updating our medical products by taking advantage of medical equipment leasing. This allows me to skip the heavy down payment for new equipment, and still get new equipment that keeps us up to date. It’s also perfect because in a few years when it starts to get outdated, I can simply turn in the equipment and replace it with new machines.  This simple cutback allowed me the freedom I needed to start updating the office, and keeping my employees happy.

Used Medical Imaging Equipment is the Smart Choice

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

I’m one of those people who will never buy a brand new car again. It’s just silly, you walk out of the doors of the dealership and the car has depreciated one sixth of what you just paid for it. I’m not a fool. I did buy my last car new, but it was only because it was the first year they made the car, and I had no choice, but I try to apply the same logic to everything. If I can get used medical imaging equipment for a cheaper price, that works just as well and produces the same results as a brand new one, but for a fraction of the cost, why would I pay for a brand new one? I could buy 4 used ones for the same price as the brand new one, and it will last me nearly as long.
